“A young couple once visited the PenManifest gallery at a live showing. One of them mentioned having never understood abstract art all. I welcomed the two of them over to Dara’s displayed work. I asked them what they thought it mean’t; how it made them feel. They started really looking and feeling. They discussed differing perspectives and their own interpretations. For the first time they were truly experiencing art appreciation. They spent a good half hour arguing over one piece. I really enjoyed being a part of that moment and I hope their relationship survived the day”
