70 million years ago Southern Alberta was a great inland seascape. Home to all manor of creature including the magnificent Ammonite. Under just the right conditions the remains fossilized and slowly turned into the rare gemstone Ammolite. Hand collected, hand shaped and hand polished this exquisite gemstone is a unique piece of Southern Alberta history.
